Working from home has become the new normal thanks to a global pandemic. Without the same equipment they had at work, many remote workers have been reserved to putting together makeshift offices at their kitchen and dining room tables.
Contact Morgan to Schedule a Home Office Ergonomic Assessment!
Working from home shouldn’t be challenging.
Minimal social contact, round-the-clock distractions, and poorly designed workspaces can negatively impact your work performance and job satisfaction.
Your home office ergonomic assessment (also called a remote ergonomic assessment) includes an OSHA-compliant evaluation of your home office setup to help improve your comfort, safety and enhance your productivity.
Follow these four steps to get your home office setup optimized!
Step 1
To get started with your home office ergonomic assessment, you will first need to fill out a Discomfort Survey. This form helps find any red flags in your workspace and identify any warning signs of pain and discomfort.
Step 2
Next, you will fill out the Remote Ergonomic Assessment intake form, which includes questions about your home office setup and space for you to upload photos of yourself sitting at your workstation.
Step 3
Approximately five days after you submit the Remote Ergonomics Assessment form, you’ll receive a link via email to schedule a time to meet over Zoom to discuss your workstation setup.
Step 4
In the Zoom call, you’ll learn about:
- Your home office setup’s strengths
- Opportunities for improving your setup and work habits
- Strategies to reduce any risk factors that may affect your performance and productivity
After your Zoom call, you’ll walk away with a firmer grasp of home office ergonomics and understand how to be more efficient and productive without the hassle of burnout and fatigue.
Please note: You will receive a written ergonomic assessment report within one week after your Zoom call.
Poor postures and office ergonomics are the root cause of many desk jockeys and computer user’s problems.
